Policies
Booking & Retainers
A signed contract is required for all bookings. Portrait and engagement sessions require a $50 nonrefundable retainer, which is applied toward the total balance. Wedding bookings require a 25% retainer, with the remaining balance due before the event. Event bookings require a booking retainer at the time of scheduling. Travel fees may apply for locations beyond a standard service radius.
Cancellation
Retainers are nonrefundable in the event of a client cancellation. Please reach out as soon as possible so we can do our best to accommodate your needs.
Rescheduling
We understand that life is beautifully unpredictable. Rescheduling requests are handled on a case-by-case basis and subject to availability. Contact us as early as possible to explore new date options.
Gallery Delivery
Edited galleries are delivered via an online gallery within the timeframe outlined in your contract. Delivery times vary by session type. Rush delivery is available as an add-on.
Print Rights
Clients receive personal print rights for all delivered images, allowing you to print and share your gallery for personal use. Commercial usage rights are available upon request. Chalmers Photography retains the right to use images for portfolio and promotional purposes.

Contracts
All photography contracts can be reviewed and completed online at your convenience. Once your session or event is confirmed, you'll receive a link to your personalised contract — no printing or scanning required.
